It seems you found my little bag of reblogged shit .

I have countless fandoms and junk that I'm obsessed with so don't be surprised when you find this site cluttered with stuff that do not have a certain theme.

Was there anything more entertaining as pulling back that metal slip on a floppy disk and letting it fling shut? This Floppy Disk Table will remind you of the good old days whenever you sit down in front of your TV. Slide the disk cover back and you’ve got some storage for remotes and coasters. You can buy one here if your inner geek is urging you to do so.

Le génie du mal [The genius of evil, aka; Lucifer]; Guillaume Geefs

“The statue was originally a commission for Geefs’ younger brother Joseph, who completed it in 1842 and installed it the following year. It generated controversy at once and was criticized for not representing a Christian ideal. The cathedral administration declared that “this devil is too sublime.” The local press intimated that the work was distracting the “pretty penitent girls” who should have been listening to the sermons.” [x]

“It is as beautiful as it is rare.  A frost flower is created on autumn or early winter mornings when ice in extremely thin layers is pushed out from the stems of plants or occasionally wood. This extrusion creates wonderful patterns which curl and fold into gorgeous frozen petioles giving this phenomenon both its name and its appearance.”

Goodbye my wonderful wall painting.

We are moving and this is my last night in this room. I did that a couple of years ago. Sadly I can’t take it with me. Also I only have a shitty digicam U_U but doing pics in daylight just doest have any atmosphere.

Huge numbers of seated figures were made out of ice by Brazilian artist Néle Azevedo. Installations involving the ice figures last until the final miniature has melted.

Blake Fall-Conroy, “Minimum Wage Machine,” 2008-2010
This machine allows anyone to work for minimum wage for as long as they like.  Turning the crank on the side releases one penny every 4.97 seconds, for a total of $7.25 per hour.  This corresponds to minimum wage for a person in New York.
This piece is brilliant on multiple levels, particularly as social commentary.  Without a doubt, most people who started operating the machine for fun would quickly grow disheartened and stop when realizing just how little they’re earning by turning this mindless crank.  A person would then conceivably realize that this is what nearly two million people in the United States do every day…at much harder jobs than turning a crank.  This turns the piece into a simple, yet effective argument for raising the minimum wage.

GIANT CARDBOARD GAMEBOY COLOR SCULPTURE

Jaime (aka MabororshiTira) made this incredibly detailed giant cardboard replica of a Nintendo Gameboy Color handheld.  It’s got pushable buttons, an on/off switch that moves and a turning volume dial.

She also made a giant game cartridge to go along with it.  It reminds me a lot of Zim and Zou’s Papercraft Gameboy with how much detail went into making this replica.

Beth Cavener Stichter.

The Adoration (from Van Eyck). Stoneware based mixed media sculpture, 168 x 36 x 16” | 427 x 91 x 41 cm.

I just downloaded SketchBook Copic Edition. AND IT’S REALLY GREAT! The interface it’s like the other SketchBook programs but I love how the colors can be blended and treated almost like real Copic markers!, I’m exited.
I’m sharing my first drawing here so it’s not so cool…but I’ll be practicing a lot with this thing. The download it’s easy and you can find the program for free in the AppStore, here: DOWNLOAD
Hope you guys enjoy the program as much as I did!
